POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a young man died in a crash in Evesham on Saturday afternoon.
A Vauxhall Corsa and a blue and white Scania lorry crashed on the A46 Evesham Bypass at just after 4pm.
It is believed that the Corsa was travelling from the Twyford roundabout towards the Badsey roundabout and the lorry was travelling in the opposite direction.
Sadly, the driver of the Corsa, a 19 year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The lorry driver was not injured.
Road closures were in place while emergency services attended the scene.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision.
Any witnesses are asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 0465S of 3 December 2016.
