children from seven to 11-years old from Dines Green Primary School performed for residents of Regent Residential Care Home in School Road, in the St John's area of Worcester.

The Sanctuary Care home’s activities leader Bridie Gray said: “The smiles on the faces of our residents when they heard the children were wonderful to see, it was a lovely way to get into the spirit of Christmas.”

Fellow resident Thelma Breeze, who is 86 years old, added: “It was so lovely to see all the children, it brought back lovely memories of when my own children used to perform Christmas carols.”

Teacher from the school Miss Campbell-Kelly concluded: “The children love going along to Christmas carols and it’s a great experience for them to go into the community and share their festive cheer with such a wonderful audience.”
