A TEENAGER has spoken about being scouted for one of the top UK modelling agencies.

Primrose Archer, 16, was spotted by Select Models UK whilst on a visit to the clothes show in Birmingham last year.

Miss Archer, a pupil of Bewdley High School had only done one previous modelling shoot.

She said: "I've only been modelling for Select around a year but I did have my first taster of modelling when I was younger, featuring in Vogue.

"But that was down to the fact my sister and brother were also models and I think they liked the idea of a family of 10 that all look rather similar.

"So far I do a lot of editorial work, some crazy shoots and some down to earth shoots but I've loved them all.

"I've managed to get into a few magazines which is great because I have the memories on paper to look back on. And they are a great way to get your face out there."

Miss Archer was spotted by Select whilst on a school trip.

She added: " I was walking though the Clothes Show just by the entrance and one of their agents approached me and asked me if i would like to talk to them about modelling. "From there I was taken over to their stand where they got me to fill out a short form with my parents contact details and took a photo of my face.

"They got in touch with my parents a few days later and I went to London one weekend to do a test shoot.

"After that I was signed up to Select and things have just gone on from there.

"I am just a normal girl who was on a school trip. I would say that if you are interested in modelling then the best thing to do is send your photos to Select or pop into their agency in London.

"You don't need to spend money on a portfolio or anything like that, just a natural selfie taken on your phone is enough."

Select Models in the UK’s biggest model agency and is world renowned for scouting household names and supermodels.

To celebrate their ongoing partnership with Clothes Show, Select are currently scouting for models using the Instagram hashtag #ScoutMeSelect which anyone can enter by simply tagging their photo.
