AFTER 20 years, Malvern podiatrist Mark Perkins is putting his feet up and retiring

Mr Perkins, whose practice is in Worcester Road, Malvern Link, came to podiatry after a successful career in the Royal Engineers. He and Susan Hubbard built up the practice and have provided a complete footcare service, including biomechanics, nail and skin care, nail surgery and many other services.

His wife Mary, retired as head of mathematics at Malvern St James School this summer and the couple have decided to spend more time travelling and with their four grandchildren.

His practice will continue to run alongside that of Sue Hubbard with Rosie Thomson joining the team in clinic. Miss Thomson, who comes from Evesham, trained at the same school of podiatry, in Birmingham, as the two principals and is well qualified to continue the high level of care that patients in the practice have come to expect.

Mr Perkins said: "I have a fulfilling and enjoyable time serving the local community and will miss the quality time I have spent with his patients. Thanks to them all for their loyal support and I wish Rosie every success in the coming years."
