THERE was a fairytale ending fit for any Disney movie when a little boy lost his beloved teddy at the French theme park.

Peter Jackson, aged four, was distraught when he realised his favourite toy Big Teddy had fallen from his pushchair in Disneyland Paris.

But thanks to a bit of Disney magic - and the wonders of social media - the pair were reunited just moments before the family were due to board the Eurostar back to England.

Mum Tina Jackson, from Windermere Drive, Warndon, said: "We went to Disneyland Paris on Saturday for four days and three nights.

"On Monday night, we went to watch the Disney Dreams light show when the park is about to close and, of course, it is dark and Peter fell asleep with teddy in the buggy.

"The bear must have dropped out at some point and we didn't notice. We went back to the park but we couldn't find him.

"I was the last one in the park that night because I had waited at customer services to see if he was handed in, but he wasn't."

The little boy was distraught at losing his favourite bear but he must have wished upon a star because they were reunited the very next day.

But in true Disney fashion, there was suspense, a dose of good fortune and a very happy ending.

"We were due to catch the train at 6pm so my husband Rob returned to where we were stood and retraced our steps when a staff member said they seen a picture of the bear on Twitter."

Disneyland Paris fan account ED92 (@ED92live) had posted a picture of the bear which had been discovered by a woman who works for an outside contractor at the park.

Tina and Rob began tweeting the Twitter page and, incredibly, the woman's son was due to take the same train.

With moments to go, Peter and Big Teddy were finally reunited with one another.

Peter's mum added: "It was such a lovely thing for them to do for us.

"It's obviously a really good page to follow if you're going to visit the park because it keeps you up to date with what's going on.

"It was an amazing gesture and really restores your faith in mankind.

"Big Teddy goes everywhere with Peter - he's a well loved bear so he was distraught when we lost him.

"He was in tears but fortunately there was a Disney ending and now they are happily cuddled up on the sofa together."

Ben, Twitter manager for ED92, said they were happy to help reunite the pair.

"As a Disneyland Paris fan site, people read us everyday for news - and a little bit of magic from the parks.

"So when Natacha found the bear while working at night in the parks, she asked us to spread the word.

"Soon, the family tweeted at us, it was their last day at the Resort, but as it turned out, Natacha's son was taking the same Eurostar that night.

"We coordinated a meeting time and place for the big reunion, and the rest is history!

It was a wonderful feeling, especially right before Christmas!"
