A CHURCH is celebrating the new year with an animal-themed craft session for children.
Messy Church returns to St Andrew's Church, in Droitwich, from 10am to noon on Saturday, January 21.
Youngsters will make animal coasters, bird gliders, fish and mobiles to explore the theme of new beginnings and creation.
Rev Bev Jameson, team vicar Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said: "It is good to be back with some great crafts and great food to begin the New Year in style at Messy Church."
There will also be songs, a short talk and a free lunch of sandwiches and cake.
Parent Louise Thurston said: “Ben has really been looking forward to Messy Church starting again after Christmas. He enjoys all the different activities that are on offer."
The Parish Centre Cafe will be closed to the public during Messy Church.
