RESIDENTS have been left without water after a main pipe burst earlier today (Friday).
The water pipe burst in Hadzor Lane, Droitwich, and a section of the road has been shut while repair work takes place.
A spokesman for Severn Trent said: "This afternoon we've discovered a burst pipe on Hadzor Lane which may be causing supplies to be off or at low pressure for some of our customers.
"Our teams are out on site now and will work around the clock to get this pipe fixed and everything back to normal.
"We know how difficult it is to have no water, especially at this time of day and we're sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing.
"We'd like to reassure our customers that we're doing everything we can do get the water supplies back on as soon as we can.
"As the burst is in the road, unfortunately we do need to close the road to allow our teams to work safely to keep road users safely away from the work area.
"Again we'd like to apologise for any disruption this may cause."
