AN intruder alarm may have scared off burglars who smashed their way into a home in Northwick.
They broke into the secure rear garden of a home in Fairbairn Avenue, Worcester, after climbing onto a wheelie bin.
The burglars then smashed the rear French doors of the house at some point between 8am and 6pm on Thursday, January 12.
It shattered the glass in the door and the offenders then attacked the locking mechanism of the door.
The burglars failed to get inside the house and nothing was stolen.
It is thought the burglary may have taken place at around 4pm as a neighbour heard an intruder alarm sounding at around the same time.
Anyone with information should call the non-emergency police number 101.
