THREE parked cars were damaged in Worcester after a car crashed into them before leaving the scene.

The cars were parked in Avon Road, Tolladine, when they were damaged at around midnight last night (Friday).

A Vauxhall, a Fiat and a VW Beetle were all damaged in the crash.

Alexandra Bisoceanu owns the Beetle which she said was given to her recently as a birthday present.

She said: "We heard a big bang, and we went out but by the time we got out the car that smashed our cars was already gone.

"The cars were parked in front of our house, on the road.

"The Vauxhall, our guests' car, was the first car that was hit and it was pushed into my Beetle and then the Beetle into my neighbour's Fiat.

"The impact was that big the Vauxhall was pushed backwards for about six feet."

She added: "This is not the only accident that happened in this area as last year we had a similar incident on our street that ended up with a couple of cars being smashed in the same circumstances.

"This is a very unfortunate event for me as I received my Beetle not long ago as a birthday present."

Anyone with any information about the crash can call police on 101.
