KIND-hearted pupils raised nearly £2,000 for a variety of charities last year.
The students at Witton Middle School, in Droitwich, spent 2016 raising money for good causes through a variety of activities including dress down days, coffee mornings and cake sales.
Among the charities they supported were Marie Curie Cancer Care, Sport Relief, Macmillan Cancer Support, the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, Children in Need, Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, Cancer Research UK and Blue Cross.
And during December, pupils donated food, toiletries and warm clothing for the Maggs Day Centre, in Worcester, together with a cheque for £243.23.
