WORCESTER residents are waking up to frost and fog this morning (Monday).
Thick fog - which is forecast to remain until around 9am - is making driving conditions difficult, so take care on the roads.
Temperatures plunged below freezing overnight, with county council gritters out treating the roads.
Dave Throup, of the Environment Agency, tweeted to say Pershore, near Worcester, saw the mercury drop to -5C overnight - making it joint coldest place in the country.

And police are warning drivers not to leave their cars unattended while de-frosting.

Once the fog has cleared, there will be some sunshine and temperatures will climb to a chilly 6C.
However, rain will move in later this afternoon, becoming heavier into the evening.
The rest of the week looks set to stay cold, with sunshine on Tuesday, but cloud is forecast for Wednesday.
