FUN and interactive ways to learn about Christianity will take place at Worcester Cathedral.

Next week, Messy Church comes to the cathedral featuring craft making and learning together as families or in a group.

Many churches in Worcester already run regular Messy Church sessions.

The dean of Worcester, Peter Atkinson said: "This is an exciting new way for people of all ages to learn about their Christian heritage and faith.

"We hope many who enjoy this will seek out places nearer to home where Messy Church is already established."

At the cathedral the focus will be on Bible characters and stories with a range of fun and literally messy activities around the cathedral.

These free sessions will run from 10.30am until 12.30pm and 2.00pm until 4.00pm on Wednesday February 22 and Thursday February 23, booking is not necessary.
