PHOTOGRAPHY lovers are being invited to a free lecture being held at The Hive library in Worcester.

The lecture is being held as part of Royal Photographic Society’s (RPS) international touring exhibition.

The talk, entitled The Science of Beauty, is being given by David James, lecturer at the University of Worcester and fellow of the RPS.

The talk takes place at 2pm on Tuesday, March 14.

Before this, on Monday, February 20 at 10am, a live event will be taking place at The Hive giving the public a chance to see some University of Worcester student work inspired by the RPS exhibition, and join in a discussion about engaging with photography.

A talk will be delivered by Peter Hill from the University about photography and vision set within the ideas about science and art.

The Royal Photographic Society exhibition, which opened earlier this month, displays the world’s best science photography and is the longest standing exhibition of its kind.

The Hive was first chosen to host the Royal Photographic Society’s international touring exhibition in 2016 when thousands of people got the chance to view the collection of distinguished images.

The exhibition runs until Wednesday, March 22.
