CHILDREN from Pinvin schools have enjoyed a pottery workshop.
Honeybourne Pottery Studio recently visited the Pinvin Federation of Schools, which brings together Pinvin CE First School and St Nicholas CE Middle School.
The children from year 3 were asked to make a pot for a flowering plant as part of their studies of plants in science.
They tried out modelling with clay during the workshop and then wrote a set of instructions to support their literacy.
They also have plans to paint the pots.
Bex Chatterton, acting head of school, said: "Being part of a Federation with St Nicholas CE Middle School means that all pupils get the opportunity the use facilities and equipment not normally available in a smaller school."
