THE last thing you expect to see on a peaceful Sunday morning stroll is a naked white clown.

But that is exactly what one shocked woman came across as she walked her dog near South Quay, Worcester.

Judith Porter sent in these bizarre pictures of a woman who, despite the chilly weather, is wearing what appears to be a white bodysuit, red nose and curly brown wig.

Incredibly, this is not the first time she has bumped into the naked clown.

And it is no laughing matter as the dog walker admitted the sight disturbs her scenic walk.

The identity of the clown remains a mystery at the moment and it is not known whether it is linked to the killer clown craze which swept the UK in October.

She said: "Sunday morning, I was enjoying a nice stroll with my dog Bobby to be completely overcome - shocked even by the sight of a naked clown.

"And this isn't the first time I have seen this clown, she appears on the odd Sunday mornings.

"The sightings disturb my usual walk along the scenic bridge in Worcester.

"The clown in this instance walks across the bridge and seemed to be walking to the Cathedral only then to turn around.

"The clown seemed to have a vacant expression and said nothing.

"I wonder if other people have also spotted the clown and why she has not been arrested?

"The blonde haired woman in the photo seemed to be as shocked as I was."

It has since been revealed that the clown is a performance artist.

The artist is investigating "notions of object white and its removal in it's aims to contest and re-establish on a personal level and Universal status of white, traditional paintings i.e the implementation of God" according to a blog post which has since been deleted.

Since last year, the woman has been spotted wandering along the riverbanks in Worcester and has been filmed for the piece.
