SINGERS hit the right note with a sell-out crowd during a fundraiser which gave two charities a big boost.

Melody makers helped a fundraiser at the Morgan Motor Company Museum in Malvern on Saturday, February 11 put two charities in top gear, raising a grand total of £3000.

"The Michael Buble and Robbie Williams Show", performed by Wayne Swift and Ollie Hughes, proved a draw with the the cash collected divided between the Malvern Special Families and the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven in Worcester, each receiving £1, 500.

The Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven based at is own grounds within Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester has staff who offer advice and practical support for those being treated for breast cancer and their families.

Trained professional nurses, therapists, counsellors and advisers listen and provide practical, emotional and physical support.

Malvern Special Families provides safe stimulating and fun social opportunities for children and young people with disabilities.

Organiser Tamsin Bayliss said: "The night itself was a huge success and the 200 sell-out crowd all enjoyed themselves. "There were many raffle prizes won and a successful auction, including tickets for Worcester Warriors and a Lexus car for the weekend.

"Ollie Hughes and Wayne Swift entertained us fabulously with their Buble and Robbie show.

"A big thank you must go to everyone who helped to make it happen and everyone who bought tickets and supported the evening."
