A BODY has been found at a canal.
Police were called to Spring Lane just before 7.30am this morning and recovered the body of a man.
The area around Spring Hill and Spring Lane has been blocked off by police, as well as the road in both directions near Shrub Hill Retail Park.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "Shortly before 7.30am this morning (Tuesday March 7) we were called by a member of the public who reported there was a body in the canal in Spring Lane.
"West Mercia Police can confirm that the body of a man was found in the canal. There are no further details available at this stage.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 79S of March 7.
