THREE men who were arrested after a teenage girl was allegedly raped in the car park of Worcestershire County Council's headquarters have been rebailed.

The alleged incident happened in the County Hall car park, off Spetchley Road, Worcester, on Tuesday, December 27, 2016.

West Mercia Police arrested two 18-year-old men and a 27-year-old man, all from Worcester, in relation to the incident.

The men were arrested on Wednesday, February 1, on suspicion of rape, arranging and facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child and conspiracy to supply class B drugs.

They have been rebailed until Tuesday, May 2.

A Worcestershire County Council spokesperson said: "We are fully supporting the police but cannot provide further comment whilst the investigations are ongoing.

"The car parks at County Hall are all well-lit and we have CCTV in place.

"In addition we have security patrols 24/7 on bank holidays and we patrol across the County Hall campus between 7pm to 2am every day."
