A WOMAN was 'inappropriately touched' after being knocked to the floor by a man with a stick.
The attack allegedly took place in Blind Lane, Evesham, between 11am and 1pm on Wednesday, March 22.
The woman, who is in her 40s, was walking alone by Evesham Rugby Club when she slipped and fell over.
As she got up, a man who was behind her is understood to have hit her knee with a stick – causing her to fall again.
The man is then reported to have touched her inappropriately. The woman kicked the man before he left the area.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and describe the offender as wearing a dark coloured hood over his face, jogging bottoms, and white trainers.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are keen to speak to people who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time, or who witnessed the incident.
