SIXTH formers from a Worcester school joined the Queen, senior members of the Royal family and the Prime Minister at an event to celebrate the Commonwealth.
Nine Tudor Grange Academy Worcester sixth formers joined 1,000 at the Commonwealth Day Assembly at Westminster Abbey earlier this year.
All 52 commonwealth countries had leaders and representatives at the event, which was attended by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and Theresa May.
There were several athletes and paralympians present and the students saw Jessica Ennis on their way out.
The students heard about the promotion of peace and equality, as well as seeing performances from musicians, poets and hearing speeches from the President of Malta and the Commonwealth youth representative from Cameroon.
The assembly was held on Monday, March 13.
