A PLAY called Pirates versus mermaids has taken place at a Kidderminster school.
Children in years 3 and 4 at Heronswood Primary School told the story of Me Hearty High School, where trainee pirates needed the help of mermaids to learn to swim.
Rhoda Pierpoint, head of school said: “Our children never fail to amaze me.
"The confidence and passion that they exude is totally contagious.
"It’s amazing how children can become so animated and bring the characters to life with apparent ease.
"It was a brilliant show and a big well done to everyone involved."
