THE annual meeting of the Cotswold Line Promotion Group which represents passengers on the rail route between Oxford, Worcester, the Malverns and Hereford takes place on Saturday, May 13.

The meeting, at the Women's Institute Hall in New Road, Moreton-in-Marsh, just outside the Gloucestershire town's railway station, starts at 10.30am, shortly after the arrival of trains from both the Oxford and Worcester directions.

The guest speakers will be Tom Pierpoint, the regional development manager of Cotswold Line train operator Great Western Railway, and Chris Bristow, the finance director of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway, who will talk about its forthcoming extension to Broadway.
