A HEREFORD rock band which formed almost 20 years ago are to play their final gig tomorrow night.
King Mantis have played their music to thousands of people since forming in 1999.
They have been featured on BBC, Sky and were offered a record contract after their initial launch.
But the time has now come for the three members, bassist James Masson, singer Ady Miles and drummer Dave Bunn, to go their separate ways.
They have been playing a series of farewell shows and will play together for the last time tomorrow.
James, bassist, said: "It has been brilliant. We have made friends for life through it. If we hadn't enjoyed it we wouldn't have been going so long. It's all down to the crowd that want us to keep coming back."
Watch King Mantis in their last ever gig at the Imperial, Widemarsh Street, Hereford, from 9pm tomorrow (Saturday).
