A CAR smashed into a wall in the city centre.
A silver Nissan Micra hit the wall in Quay Street, Worcester, at about 1.45pm today (May 9).
Police believe the vehicle may have crashed into a white Mazda, in Deansway, before hitting the wall.
The two vehicles collided when one of them tried to overtake the other, according to police reports.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said they believe the two men inside the Micra left the area following the collision.
Droitwich firefighters also responded to the incident and made the scene safe.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service received reports of the crash at 2.08pm.
They sent a fire engine from Droitwich because all of the Worcester crews were on different jobs.
No injuries have been reported.
