POLICE found a missing man dead on a bridge.
The body of the man, who is in his 30s, was located on a bridge to the rear of Cherry Tree Cottage, on the Worcester Road, in Grafton Flyford, near Worcester.
Police were called due to concerns about the man’s safety at 11.20pm last night.
His body was found at about 1am today (May 15).
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman described the incident as a 'tragic set of circumstances'.
An ambulance service Hazardous Area Response Team recovered the body and confirmed that the man was dead.
A paramedic officer and an ambulance were also sent to the scene, with the last unit leaving at 4.04am.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service sent a fire engine from Worcester to the incident.
The man's death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been informed.
Police have not named the man but his next of kin has been told about his death.
