A WORCESTER school has achieved the maximum five stars after a hygiene inspection.
Catering staff at Blessed Edward Oldcorne College were given the top rating as part of the Worcester City Council scores on the doors scheme.
Kate Moore, catering manager, from Alliance in Partnership (AIP), said: “Congratulations to the AIP catering staff at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College on achieving the highest rating food hygiene standards of five stars.”
Sean Devlin, the school's principal, said he was very proud of the range of food on offer through AIP in the college for staff and students.
He added all food service in the college meets the strict Department for Education guidelines and statutory requirements for maintained schools.
