PUPILS at Astley School were surprised to return from their Easter holidays to discover one of their favourite trees had been yarn-bombed.
The tree had been covered in a knitted Astley School navy jumper.
The covering was produced by a parent at the school to mark her daughter's last year at the school.
Ali Reakes-Williams, head of school at Astley, said: "Staff and children have all really appreciated this lovely addition to our grounds.
"It is also a fantastic reminder to all of us of how we intend to relate to one another as we work and play."
The jumper displays the school logo and the school's underlying values and principles have been appliqued on.
