A BRACE from Sam Clark fired Worcester’s Christopher Whitehead Language College's to the Year 11 county football title for the second successive year.

Captain Jake Cavens was outstanding for the college who sealed a 3-2 win after extra-time against South Bromsgrove in a competitive cup final.

After a goalless and tight first-half, South Bromsgrove rocked the college with the opener at the beginning of the second period.

However, Christopher Whitehead responded strongly and a superb goal from Clark took the contest into extra-time.

Christopher Whitehead pushed on and looked the much stronger outfit in extra-time.

The Worcester college bagged breakaway goals from man-of-the-match Cavens and Clark, who finished off a sweeping team move, to open up a commanding 3-1 lead.

South Bromsgrove reduced the deficit with five minutes remaining.

But the Christopher Whitehead held firm to retain the county cup they won last year after beating the same opponents in the final.
