A GET together street party inspired by murdered MP Jo Cox will take place in Worcester today.
People from The Hill Avenue, off Bath Road, will celebrate The Great Get Together in the style of the old Jubilee street parties of the past.
The street itself will be closed during the party, which is involving 75 households.
Tables, chairs, bunting, food and drink will all be out for the event, being held as part of the Great Get Together, inspired by Jo Cox, who was killed on June 16 last year.
Various event are being held across the country for the Get Together. For more details visit: greatgettogether.org.
