ARTWORK created by pupils to mark Foster Care Fortnight will go on display at Worcester Arts Workshop.
Children from Stanley Road Primary School, Worcester, got the chance to quiz Evesham foster carer Jenny Picton earlier this year.
The session, organised by Worcestershire County Council's fostering service, also saw the nursery, reception and year one pupils invited to draw pictures of her. Fostering service staff were on hand to talk about the roles and responsibilities of foster carers.
The pupils' work has been judged by a panel of foster carers and a selection of the children's pictures will go on show, beside the winners' creations, at the Worcester Arts Workshop from Monday until the end of August.
There are 39 fostering households in the Worcester area, but six new foster carers are urgently needed. Anyone can apply to become a foster carer if they have a spare bedroom and the time. Call 0800 028 2158 to find out more.
