AN 87-year-old man was taken to hospital after a two-car crash on the A44 near Lenchwick, Evesham.
The man suffered a cut lip in the crash and was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital as a precaution.
The crash happened near the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Lenchwick Lane, Twyford, near Evesham, just after 2.45pm today.
A spokesman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said an ambulance and a paramedic officer went to the scene after reports the man was trapped.
On arrival, they found he was not trapped.
West Mercia Police tweeted to say the A44 to Lenchwick, Evesham was blocked.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the area by West Mercia Police.
