ANOTHER woman has come forward to say she has been a victim of a sex attack by a man riding a bike in the city.

The woman said she was sexually assaulted on Tuesday between 7.45pm and 8pm by Diglis Bridge.

She was jogging by the riverside, when she became aware of a white man who she remembers wearing red shorts, sat on a bench, with a bicycle beside him.

She ran past the man, then a few minutes later the same man inappropriately touched her. He then rode off.

The offender is described as a white man, with mousey-brown hair that was short at the sides and messy on top. He had broad shoulders and an athletic build and was wearing red shorts and a black Camelbak rucksack. He was riding a black bicycle that had red lettering on it.

Anyone who witnessed this, or has any information, should call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident 806S of July 18.

We have previously reported three sexual assaults involving a man on a bike.

West Mercia Police could not say if they were linking the four attacks as the Worcester News went to press.

Police in Worcester are hunting a cyclist who touched a woman inappropriately and tried to pull her towards him in Bath Road on Sunday, July 2 between 1am and 1.45am.

Another woman was jogging along the west bank of the River Severn, between the main bridge and the Diglis weir on Thursday, July 7 when she was passed by a man on a bike heading in the opposite direction. He doubled back towards her and grabbed her backside before cycling off really fast.

A third woman was walking along Hallow Road, Worcester, at 8.25pm on Tuesday, May 9, when a cyclist rode past her as she was walking to work.

The woman moved out of the man way, but he came up behind her and hit her bottom before riding away.

The woman, in her 40s, said police promised to check CCTV, but West Mercia Police say the victim didn’t want the matter taken any further.

She reported to police under incident number 691s/070717.

Anyone with information on any of the incidents is asked to call police on 101.
