POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a large quantity of cigarettes was stolen from a Bewdley petrol station overnight.
The offenders forced entry into the shop at the Texaco petrol station, in Kidderminster Road, at around 2am this morning (Monday, July 24).
Once inside, the offenders have stolen a large quantity of cigarettes from behind the counter - before he and the driver made off in a blue-coloured Vauxhall Corsa, with the partial registration plate YA57.
Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Mark Roberts of West Mercia Police, said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and might have seen the vehicle matching the description above."
Anyone with information should call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 48S of July 24.
