A CARE home in Worcester is inviting the local community to join in with an afternoon of creative crafts on Sunday .
From 3pm until 5pm, local people are invited to drop into Perry Manor care home on Charles Hastings Way to take part in a variety of craft activities from past and present.
Activities include rag rugging, spinning wheel and butter making and guests will be able to purchase a selection of treats, hand-crafted toys and homemade lavender bags.
There will also be a summer raffle draw with prizes including, perfume, chocolates, a picnic hamper and a coffee maker.
Katherine Matthews, home manager at Perry Manor, commented: “Hosting a craft event provides us with a great opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of family-friendly fun. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway.
“This event is a great opportunity to showcase what life is like here at Perry Manor. Everyone has really pulled together to create a fantastic event and we look forward to welcoming those in the local area to join us for what promises to be a wonderful day, full of craft and artistic fun.”
