GOOD morning. We're here with the latest traffic and travel news to help you reach your destination on time.

Roads are looking incident free across the region this morning (August 24) as far as we can see, but look out for:

On the A448 Stratford Road in Bromsgrove, there are temporary traffic lights due to roadworks, so expect delays.

Over in Finstall there is water main work and temporary traffic lights on the B4184 Alcester Road at Walnut Lane.

In Tutnall, telecoms work and temporary traffic lights on the B4096 Hewell Lane at Brockhill Lane are causing delays.

Heading over the Redditch, and in Mappleborough Green, roadworks and temporary traffic lights on A435 Birmingham Road at Pratts Lane end today.

There is continued roadworks and temporary traffic lights on the A441 Birmingham Road both ways at B4101 Dagnell End Road in Redditch, due to roundabout development until October 15.

If you're in Kidderminster, watch out for roadworks and temporary traffic lights on A442 Franche Road at Woodland Avenue.

Into Hagley now, and Summervale Road is both ways closed due to water main work between A456 Kidderminster Road / B4187 Worcester Road / Western Road and Milestone Drive. To access Summervale Road use Church Street off of Worcester Road.

As ever, if you're on the M5, one lane is closed and there is a speed restriction of 30 mph due to contraflow and major roadworks on M5 both ways between J1 A41 / A4252 / Birmingham Road (West Bromwich / Birmingham) and J2 A4123 (Oldbury). Expect delays. Works on the Oldbury Viaduct means that all traffic is sharing one side of the road as a contraflow.

The M42 is currently being used as a diversionary route for traffic travelling from the M5. So traffic is heavier than normal on the M42 Northbound between J3 A435 (Portway / Redditch) and J6 A45 (Birmingham Airport / Coventry).
