All three defendants appeared together at court one of Worcester Magistrates Court today (Thursday) where they confirmed their names, addresses and dates of birth but did not enter any pleas.

The case was deemed by district judge Nana Lawrence to be too serious to be heard at the magistrates court and so was adjourned for a hearing next month (September) at Worcester Crown Court.

He also faces a charge of paying for sexual services of a girl aged 16/17, also on December 27 last year.

Kaasim Multani, aged 19, of Westminster Road, Ronkswood, Worcester faces a single charge of paying for the sexual services of a girl aged 16/17 on December 27 last year.

The defendants were bailed on condition they do not associate with each other. In addition they are not to be in a car (either moving or static) with a female under the age of 18, must have no contact with the complaint or named witnesses and they must not have contact with any child under the age of 18 unless supervised by a person authorised by children's services and must not enter a designated area of Worcester.

Amy Davies, prosecuting, said: "All matters are linked and should be sent to the crown court."

The case will next be heard at Worcester Crown Court on September 28.
