A SWAN trapped in a fishing line was rescued by firefighters in Worcester this afternoon.
The incident took place in Cartwight Walk, Diglis Water, at about 1.27pm on Thursday, August 31.
A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service Crew from Worcester using a boat and an appliance helped rescue the bird.
Tweeting from @HWFireControl fire service spokesman said: "Appliance and boat from @HWFireWorcs successfully rescued swan trapped in fishing line checked by swan rescue released Cartwright Walk."
