A WOMAN in her 40s was taken to hospital after two cars crashed in Droitwich.
The crash happened a few minutes before 2pm on Tuesday in Worcester Road, close to its junction with Tagwell Road.
A fire engine from the Droitwich station was sent out, as were two ambulances and a rapid-response paramedic.
The woman had freed herself from her car by the time emergency services arrived, and was treated for neck and back pains, before being taken to Worcester Royal Hospital.
The fire crews made the vehicles safe.
