IT'S less than a week away from the Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair.

Up to 750 people will be expected to attend the Fair, run in association with Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, which will take place at the Guildhall, Worcester, on Thursday, September 14.

At the event, visitors will be able to find out about dozens of jobs in nursing and hospitality.

Event sponsor, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust are looking to meet candidates to discuss a variety of roles including; Nursing at all levels, Learning Disability and Mental Health Nurses.

Whether you are looking to embark on a nursing career within the NHS, return to the profession or looking for opportunities in a new organisation, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has a range of exciting nursing opportunities available across the Alexandra, Kidderminster and Worcestershire Royal Hospitals.

Reji George, matron at The Alexandra Hospital, Redditch joined the Trust as staff Nurse in 2005.

Originally having trained in India, he completed a UK nursing adaptation programme before gaining registration and joining the Trust where he has worked in a number of wards and is proud to wear his nursing uniform.

He is a huge supporter of nursing colleagues seeking to develop their career.

He said: "I have moved around many wards and gained a lot of experience through change, which has helped prepare me for management.

"Last year, I was appointed a matron, I am so proud of achieving this grade."

Greene King have 90 vacancies for their brand new Bluebell Farm site off Nunnery Way and are recruiting for a head chef, a grill/line chefs, carvery chefs, bakers/dessert chefs, kitchen assistants, cleaning team and front of house bar and waiting staff.

Worcestershire County Cricket Club are looking to expand their Events and Hospitality team and have Bar and Waiting staff opportunities.

The fair will be open to jobseekers from 9.30am until 3.30pm and admission is free.
