YOUNGSTERS at a Worcester school were met with an amazing sight at the start of the new term.
Pupils at Fort Royal Community Primary School, in Wylds Lane, saw the sight of sunflowers, planted as seeds and potted earlier in the year, in full bloom.
All the children at the school had planted the seeds during outdoor learning sessions, and the youngsters were staggered to see how well they had grown.
Nick Lee, outdoor learning co-ordinator, said: "It was a great opportunity for all the children to leave something behind at the beginning of the summer and come back to this colourful display."
