I feel very lucky to live in Worcester.
It has so much history yet is clearly a modern city too, as evidenced by such facilities as the Hive and the University Arena.
I run a lot around Worcester and there are many great routes. One of my favourites is along Pitchcroft, through Gheluvelt Park, up to Claines Church, along the canal, through the city centre and along the river. Worcester has two parkruns – pretty impressive for a city its size!
Here are some other reasons I love Worcester: the Cathedral; the Guildhall; the museum; the University; New Road cricket ground; the growing poetry scene; the Victorian Fayre; Huntingdon Hall; Swan Theatre; the pubs, coffee shops and restaurants; Worcester Woods Country Park; Nunnery Wood athletics track; the friends I have made over the past ten years.
