A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a car smashed through a primary school fence yards away from the main entrance.
A 28-year-old man from Malvern has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and is due to answer police bail on Sunday October 15.
The driver of a purple Volkswagen Golf reportedly fled the scene after the crash outside Cranham Primary School, in Tetbury Drive, Worcester.
He ploughed through the fence at 7.37am on Tuesday – seven minutes after the school's breakfast club began.
Parents of pupils who attend the school have now raised concerns about the safety of their children due to speeding in the area.
Cllr Ceri Stalker, who represents Warndon encouraged anyone who has concerns about speeding in the area to email her or contact the police.
