TRAINS have been stopped between Malvern and Hereford due to a signal fault.
The problem happened at around 3.35pm in the Ledbury area.
Great Western Railway trains are being terminated at Worcester Shrub Hill to ensure they do not get stuck in a backlog.
Network Rail said it has an engineer at the site of the fault and is currently working to fix the signal.
A spokesman could not estimate when the repairs would be complete or specify the nature of the fault.
UPDATE (7.50pm): A London Midland spokesman said services between Malvern and Hereford resumed at 4.20pm.
