THE Mayor of Worcester recently visited Lyppard Hub, in Warndon Villages, to see popular initiatives for parents.
Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Steve Mackay and his wife Alison, the Mayoress, popped in to the community centre in Ankerage Green on Tuesday, October 3, to see the Children’s Clothing Exchange.
Held on the first Tuesday of every month, between 10.30am and noon, the scheme provides an opportunity for parents to swap their children’s good quality outgrown clothes for larger sizes.
The Mayor also popped into the Creative Little Uns Parent and Toddler Group where he read a story to the children.
The group is for under 5’s and offers interactive sessions with stories, rhymes, songs, themed crafts, soft play and toys and is held every Tuesday during term time between 10am and 11.30am.
