THE Severn Area Rescue Association has been called out to help look for missing Stourbridge man Matthew Gill.

Search and rescue volunteers from Wyre Forest and Tewkesbury stations have been deployed to the Prestwood area, South Staffordshire, join in the search for the 43-year-old who has not been seen since Friday October 6. 

Mr Gill, known as Liggy, did not arrive at work and his car is reported to have been found on the car park at Petzone, Prestwood, off the A449.

Police say he left home without his wallet, his phone has been switched off and he has not contacted his partner.

Mr Gill is described as white, five feet 10 inches tall, of medium build, clean shaven with short cropped hair. 

He may have been wearing a white baseball cap, tracksuit bottoms and grey slip on trainers at the time of his disappearance.
