EVESHAM seniors' section held their annual general meeting at the clubhouse after 24 took to the course for a nine-hole stableford.
Outgoing captain Ian Wood sealed his year as captain by winning the competition by one shot.
Before the meeting, prize-giving took place for two contests.
Wood won the Ralph Burton Trophy with Ian Facer runner-up.
Alan Askew claimed the Spencer Plate with Dave Kewley second.
At the meeting, outgoing captain Wood thanked the section for their support and members of the committee for making events and competitions a success.
The charity fundraising by the section means Acorns Children's Hospice, Wood’s chosen charity, will receive a cheque for £2,000.
He handed over the reins to new captain Bill Dobie.
The Past Captain's Trophy involved 12 Evesham ladies in extremely windy conditions with scores hampered by the weather.
The winning effort of 32 points was by Annie Bird ahead of Gillian Spencer on 29.
