THE Kingfisher Shopping Centre is heading into the Christmas period with a host of new openings under its belt.

International sportswear brand Trespass is set to open in the coming weeks, and fun and fashion-forward stationery Smiggle is due to open in November.

Flying Tiger Copenhagen has temporarily closed, and will be popping back up in the centre late October, returning with its exciting mix of gifts, gadgets, toys and more.

These latest additions come just weeks after a flurry of new names opened their doors in the centre including the much-loved HMV.

Ken Williams, general manager at Kingfisher, said: “We’ve welcomed a host of new retailers on board, with a selection of exciting new stores still to open in the coming weeks.

“We’re always striving to expand our retail mix for shoppers and the arrival of Trespass and Smiggle into the Kingfisher family has really allowed us to broaden our offering ahead of a busy festive period.

“We’re extremely proud of our retailers and delighted that so many wonderful brands are choosing to open their stores here in Redditch. We expect the new additions will be a big hit, particularly in the run up to Christmas.”
