A GROUP that works with vulnerable youngsters is holding a 24-hour gameathon to raise much needed cash.

The event, starting on Friday, October 27 at 10am and ending on Saturday, October 28 at 10am, is being organised by Your Ideas and the money raised will go toward helping it continue the vital work it does in the community.

It will see members playing video games for 24 hours in its centre in Matchborough.

The group works with ages five to 25 and provides activities for a range of young people and families in the local area.

It runs youth clubs for young people on the Autistic spectrum, provides key workers for young people out of education, runs gaming clubs for isolated young people, art clubs, sports and fitness sessions, and provides advocacy and support for our members and families.

The event will be streamed live for the 24 hours.
