A CITY pub is looking for local musicians to perform during this year's Christmas market.
The Cardinal's Hat on Friar Street is organising a music stage as part of the Victorian Christmas Fayre in Worcester which will also run in conjunction with the Winter Beer Festival at nearby Tudor House Museum
Tash Daly from The Cardinal’s Hat said: "We are particularly encouraging applications from acoustic acts as this will really suit the outside stage.
"Please apply, it’s a great community atmosphere along Friar Street during the Fayre and the stage really makes the event - we’d love to hear from you!"
The stage is returning after the pub and museum on Friar Street joined forces for its inaugural Winter Beer Festival in 2016.
The Victorian-themed market – which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year – sees thousands visit the city across four days.
It was recently named in a list of the best in the UK by the Daily Mirror.
All the fair favourites are set to return to the city’s famous streets this year, including the traditional Victorian carousel, juggling stilt walkers, Victorian characters and local choirs.
Over 150 stores will sell food and drink, crafts and gifts.
The return of Gin Lane sees the Shambles transformed into a Victorian alleyway filled with vagrant characters and outcasts.
The fair will run from Thursday, November 30 to Sunday, December 3.
