THE busiest shopping day of the year is almost upon us and with thousands of great deals to be had, high streets can often become hectic and seem overwhelming.
To navigate your way through Worcester’s sales this year, here’s a guide to local stores and the kind of savings they’re offering to Black Friday shoppers.
1. Two Seasons
Located in the Crowngate Shopping centre, Two Seasons sells surf, skate and snow wear for men and women. On Black Friday they will be discounting much of their stock across the store by up to fifty percent. These savings are also available online with the added incentive of free delivery.
2. Blacks
Blacks, the shop that caters for those preparing to embark on any outdoor pursuits, will also be reducing their prices by up to half. Its online site offers these discounts as well, along with an extra twenty percent off selected brands which may not be available in The Shambles store.
3. H&M
This popular shop on Worcester’s High street will be taking up to fifty percent off many of their fashion items in both the women’s and men’s departments. Just like most brands this Black Friday, the same deals from in-store are available on their website.
4. Holland and Barrett
Advertising their involvement in the Black Friday sales as the ‘Black Ticket Event,’ Holland and Barrett has had selected products reduced for a number of days already. The health brand has promised that much of their stock is available for better than half price, making it a destination with some of the biggest savings for Worcester’s shoppers.
5. Argos
Argos is well known for its frequent sales so it is no surprise that the store is involved in ‘Black Friday’ or that the company has decided to discount selected products for a whole fourteen days.
Specific potential savings haven’t been advertised but Worcester’s shop-front does promise that the prices of the marked-down goods will be 'Amazing'. These offers are also extended to online shoppers where, up until Tuesday, the prices of toys have been dropped to half price.
